“I've known Doug (owner of Solar Plus) for 30 years or more, and I was really excited when he got into the PV business because that's something that's super important to us. I had a really old PV system back in 1992 when the hurricane hit and being able to be off-grid and have power was a game changer. Doug has done a number of projects for us, both big and small, working as the president of the National Tropical Botanical Garden. He has done a number of projects. I'm working with him right now to actually do a project for our home here in Ha’ena so very exciting! And a project for the Hui Maka’ainana in Ha’ena State Park. Really great to have a local resident that's as qualified, wonderful electrician, as well as an installer of these PV systems. Doug's the man!”
